I think of my photos as cinematic frames. My photos look exactly as bright and joyful as your day looked. I love colour and I don’t strip it out - I keep things close to reality. That’s the reason I love shooting film - Kodak Portra in particular.

There are so many passing trends in the wedding industry - fads, really. That’s not really my thing (although I’m all for the occasional editorial, paparazzi flash). I want my couples to look back in years to come and remember the day as it was, rather than looking at desaturated photos where the sky is no longer blue or your very white dress is leaning towards yellow. Trends come and go, but natural, authentic imagery is timeless.

Digital cameras are so high-tech these days that people can get away without knowing a whole lot about the art of photography or the fascinating science of light. But I’m a camera nerd (my fave wind-down activity is literally watching camera gear reviews), so the science of it all is second nature to me. That means I can be present on the day and incredibly creative, leaning into whatever the day throws at us to capture those perfectly crafted cinematic frames.

My approach is intentional, favouring careful and considered photography over snapping thousands in the hope that I’ll get one good shot.

I believe in the art of gentle direction - knowing when to guide and when to let things flow organically. With minimal but thoughtful guidance, I help you focus on what matters most - each other, your people, and the spontaneous joy of the moment. You’ll look back on your photos and be absolutely obsessed with how damn gorgeous you looked.
